Enable Cooling & Heating

UK-wide commercial contractor

Commercial Air Conditioning Design, Install & Maintain

A full-service commercial HVAC contractor working nationwide — from a single cassette in a meeting room to multi-storey VRF, chilled water and air handling projects. We handle design, heat-load calculations, installation, commissioning, O&M documentation and ongoing planned maintenance.

Systems we design and install

System selection follows the building, not a catalogue. Open-plan floors usually suit ceiling cassettes or ducted units on a VRF network; cellular offices and server rooms often need dedicated splits with independent control; larger schemes may call for chilled water or air handling with heat recovery.

Delivered around your operation

Most of our commercial work happens in buildings that cannot simply close. We phase installations floor by floor, work out of hours and overnight where needed, produce RAMS for every project, and coordinate with landlords, principal contractors and building managers so trading and staff are not disrupted.

Compliance and documentation

Commercial systems containing 5 tonnes CO₂e or more of refrigerant must be leak tested and recorded by law. Every site we maintain is set up with a digital asset register listing each unit, its location, model, refrigerant charge and full service history — with QR codes on units so engineers and site staff can pull up a record or report a fault on the spot.

Spread the cost with finance

Commercial projects from £2,500 to £250,000 + VAT can be funded over 3 or 5 years, covering the whole project including power supplies, builders work and commissioning — so cooling can be paid for out of operating budget rather than capital.

Frequently asked questions

What is a VRF system and when do I need one?

VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) runs many indoor units from one or more outdoor condensers, varying refrigerant flow to each. It suits buildings with several zones — typically more than four or five rooms — because it saves plant space, allows individual room control and can move heat from one zone to another on a heat recovery system.

Can you work outside business hours?

Yes. Retail, hospitality and office fit-outs are regularly delivered evenings, overnight and at weekends. We agree access and phasing before mobilising.

Do commercial systems need F-Gas leak testing?

Systems containing 5 tonnes CO₂e or more of fluorinated refrigerant must be leak checked at intervals set by the charge size, and records kept. As the operator, that legal duty sits with you — our maintenance contracts carry out the checks and keep the records.

Do you work nationwide or just the North West?

We are based in Manchester and work UK-wide, including multi-site portfolios across England, Scotland and Wales.

Can you take over maintenance of systems someone else installed?

Yes. We take on existing plant of any age and brand. The first visit is a condition survey that builds the asset register and flags anything needing attention before it goes on a PPM schedule.
