Fault finding and repair

Air Conditioning Repairs

Not cooling, leaking water, tripping out or flashing an error code? Our F-Gas certified engineers diagnose and repair air conditioning of any age and any brand — domestic splits through to commercial VRF — with emergency call-out available for critical cooling.

Faults we fix every week

Most call-outs come down to a handful of causes, and the majority are repairable on the first visit.

Leaks repaired, not just topped up

Refrigerant does not get used up — if it is low, it has leaked. Simply regassing is a false economy and, above the statutory thresholds, not compliant. We trace the leak with electronic detection, nitrogen pressure testing or UV dye, repair the joint or component, evacuate the system properly and recharge to the manufacturer's weighed-in charge.

Parts and older systems

We source parts across all major manufacturers and carry common consumables on the van. Where a system uses obsolete refrigerant such as R22, or the repair cost approaches replacement value, we will say so honestly and quote both options so you can decide.

Emergency cover

Server rooms, comms rooms, commercial kitchens and production areas cannot wait. We offer priority emergency call-out, with contracted maintenance customers going to the front of the queue.

Frequently asked questions

My air conditioning is blowing warm air — what's wrong?

The most common cause is low refrigerant due to a leak, followed by a dirty filter or coil restricting airflow, a failed outdoor fan, or the unit being left in heating mode. Diagnosis takes an engineer with gauges — guessing usually costs more.

Why is my indoor unit leaking water?

Almost always a blocked condensate drain or a failed condensate pump. Left alone it will damage ceilings and plaster, so it is worth attending to quickly. It is a straightforward repair in most cases.

Can you repair any brand?

Yes — Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Toshiba, Samsung, Midea, Fujitsu, LG, Panasonic, Haier and others, including systems we did not install.

Is it worth repairing an old system?

Often yes. Where a system runs obsolete R22 refrigerant, has a failed compressor, or the repair approaches the cost of new equipment, we quote both repair and replacement and let you decide.

Do you offer emergency call-out?

Yes, for critical cooling such as server rooms, kitchens and production areas. Maintenance contract customers get priority response.
